Today, September 11th 2001 I sat at my
computer here in London, England
working on a page for a darling friend in
America and then my phone rang. A friend
called and told me to turn on the news.

The shock, disbelief and horror was
overwhelming. For what seemed ages
I could not take in the devastation I was
witnessing, then came the tears. Tears for
 the innocent lives taken in this senseless
and evil, yes evil, attack. Tears for the
injured and tears for their families.

I did not know what to do with my grief
for all those lives affected today, I am no
poet and have no beautiful words to put
to this unbelievable horror but I had to
do something to pay tribute to everyone
affected.

As I cry I know the World cries
too and all I can do is pray for each and
every person whose life has changed
today, I know mine has.

Deepest heartfelt condolences to the
families and friends of all those whose
innocent lives were taken today, to all
those physically and emotionally scarred,
to all the families and friends and to the
nation that was victim of this evil act
of terrorism.

As Jesus weeps
