One lazy, summer afternoon,
I stretched out on my lawn,
Cloud-studying was on my mind,
Nothing else was going on.

The sky, a gorgeous shade of blue,
Fleecy clouds were floating by,
I saw animals and people,
And all sorts of shapes up high.

But clouds, at best, don't last too long,
They float on or separate,
But break, or stay, or float away,
They never fail to fascinate.

One day a special cloud showed up,
It captivated me,
It did not disappear at all,
I studied it most earnestly.

Now, it wasn't even Easter time,
But I knew I saw a Bunny,
It had pink ears and a pinkish nose,
And it looked soft, and sweet, and funny.

It made me smile to watch it,
It hopped; it didn't float,
What a funny, little Bunny Cloud,
I kept it in my scope.

I closed one eye; it still was there,
So then I closed the other,
But it kept hopping all around,
As in the sky it hovered.

When my session ended,
I hated to go in,
What about my Bunny Cloud?
Would I see it again?

The next day I went outside,
And I looked up above,
And, sure enough, there was my cloud,
There was my Bunny Love.

So many days this happened,
I did think it was odd,
Was I looking at a Bunny Cloud,
Or a Bunny Angel sent from God?

God does wondrous things, you know,
Though we're often undeserving,
Just think - a Bunny Angel of my own,
From simple cloud-observing.

So Bunny Angel, keep on hopping,
And I'll keep looking up to you,
God must think you're very special,
And I sure think so, too!
